Marrin Gamu in your classroom

There are two ways for students to participate in Marrin Gamu, either as part of an existing Aboriginal or Torres Strait Island language program, or as mainstream classroom activities.

1. Record your own song, as a language program activity.
2. Activities that you can use in English, Humanities and Social Sciences-History, Maths, HASS- Geography, Science or Health and Physical Education classes.

If your school does not currently have a language program but is interested in establishing one, we recommend exploring the Australian Curriculum Framework for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Languages.
